Have you tried taking “dis” out of disability? Those with physical disabilities can’t find jobs for themselves.  I have three ideas to help those who are disabled.  While researching the Americans With Disabilities Act, I discovered tons of intriguing facts about the unemployment for the physically disabled.   My second thought was to make a nonprofit organization, which would assist those disabled in getting jobs.  We can team up with the government to help make the organization.  Thirdly, my final thought is making a website that will advertise the nonprofit organization.  In addition, the website will let the disabled type a job they want, and the website will show current locations where those jobs are in the USA.  The above are my three ideas to help find jobs for the disabled.
Fewer than thirty percent of the disabled are not employed!  Employers underestimate the potential of a disabled person just because they have a handicap.   The Americans With Disabilities Act was made law to protect those with disabilities.  The ADA act was supposed to make employers give the disabled a fair shot at jobs, but nothing has changed.  According to accessiblesociety.org, the percentage of unemployment among the disabled has not changed since the ADA act was singed in 1990.  Seventy-nine percent of the disabled are denied jobs, because they are discriminated against.  Disabled people shouldn’t be treated this way.  Employers should be fair giving jobs, or there wouldn’t be thirty percent of the disabled jobless.
In my opinion, a nonprofit organization needs to be created to help disabled people get jobs.  The agency would have a list of employers that have jobs open.  It would also include teaching interview skills and providing them clothes for the interview.   This is going to make things fair for the disabled people, because everyone will get a fair shot at each job.  My organization would work with partnering agencies that all ready enforce the ADA law.  It also would help the disabled get monetarily stable.  The agency would oversee every job offer to ensure that it is completely fair.  When placed in a good job, the handicapped would feel more like a citizen.  If everyone followed the ADA law, then the agency would have to be created.
To support the agency, a website is going to be created.  Fundraisers for the disabled people are going to be advertized, so they will get money.  Also on the website, you will be able to type a job you want, and it will show where jobs are listed in the USA.  It will attract volunteers to the nonprofit organization.  This free link will be easy for the disabled to use, because it requires no transportation.  This website will provide links to places such as libraries, wheelchair companies, and other useful services.  I will make this web, and it will advertise used wheelchairs.  The wheelchairs will be cheaper than normal prices.  This is my final idea.
After researching the physically disabled, I have created three proposals, which can help the disabled find jobs.  The first way I can help the disabled is to teach others about the discrimination the handicapped face.  I suggest making a nonprofit organization that will support everything the ADA Act was created to do.  In addition, the agency will assist the disabled in finding jobs.  Finally, I can make a website that will pair the disabled with job openings in the USA.  Also, I can advertise things like libraries and wheelchair companies on the website.  This research made me open my eyes to the fact that the disabled are not treated fairly at all.  This is what I’ve learned in my research about finding people with disabilities jobs.
