Child labor is like a petrifying nightmare that never ends.  It is a growing issue that is disintegrating our society by working kids unfairly.  There are three main causes of child labor: poverty, social apathy and lack of education.  The causes and effects of this problem are extreme and destroy a child’s childhood and adulthood.  To try to bring an end to this ongoing problem, we must start a non-profit organization.  Farmers mostly live off labor from children over 12 ruining their childhood forever.  If we don’t stop child labor soon, it will never end.  Child labor is like a vine because it will keep on growing as the year’s progress.
The main causes of child labor are poverty, social apathy and lack of education.  One example of a child working because poverty is that their parents are poor and can’t supply their own children with food or themselves.  The children need to work and give the money to their parents because without it they would not have food or a roof over their head.  Another cause is social apathy because kids don’t try hard enough, and then they lose a finger or a hand and they don’t get medical attention.  They could get an infection and not be able to go to a hospital.  Last, if a child is working and they don’t get a good education, then they don’t get a good job because they didn’t get an even okay education.  Fewer companies will hire the people who had to work instead of get an education.  Without a job, they won’t get enough money to buy a house or food.  Those are the main causes of child labor in the U.S.

The causes and effects of child labor was eliminated would highly affect the amount of money people earn.  First, farmer would lose labor, time and money because child labor is cheaper than hiring adults.  This is a problem because farmers would have to do more work or hire adults.  Second, it would make families poorer with only money coming from the parents.  This is a problem because the kids would live an unfair childhood without much fun or extra money.  Last, public schools would have way more kids enrolling.  This is a problem because public schools would have to hire more teachers and offer less money.  Public schools would also have to cut programs that children enjoy.  These are three problems we would have in the U.S. if child labor was eliminated.

    To try to begin to end child labor, we need to start a non-profit organization.  To start one we need to follow some steps.  The first step is we have to define our mission.  This means we need to make something that will catch people’s eyes.  Second, we need to produce a business plan.  To do this, we must sit down and talk about what we’re going to do with the money we earn.  These are only the first two steps to creating a non-profit organization.  That is how we can try to start of putting an end to child labor.

    The dictionary defines fair as in accordance with the rules or standards. I define fair as being equal to everybody.  I think that child labor is just the opposite because children are not being treated equally.  That is why child labor is like a scary nightmare that never ends.  We need to stop this ongoing problem in the world.  To stop it will take decades to fully destroy child labor.  These are some of the main causes, causes and effects and then how to stop child labor through a non-profit organization.
